WATCH LIVE: Search for Brian Laundrie at Florida Nature Preserve Enters Fifth Day

“SWAMP BUGGY” Now Being Used in Search for Brian Laundrie at Carlton Reserve, DAY 5

The search for Brian Laundrie at a Florida wildlife preserve entered its fifth day on Thursday.

Fox News reported that a swamp buggy is being used to look for Laundrie, 23, at the Carlton Reserve, a 24,000-acre preserve in Sarasota County. Laundrie has not been seen or heard from since apparently leaving his parents’ North Port home on September 14 —  though his parents waited three days to report his disappearance.

On Sunday, Petito’s body was discovered in the Spread Creek Dispersed Camping Area in the Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming. An autopsy that was conducted on Tuesday determined her preliminary manner of death was a homicide.

While Laundrie is considered a person of interest in this case, he has not been criminally charged in connection with Petito’s death.
