A Florida teen found dead Tuesday near an interstate highway overpass died by homicide.
Ryan Rogers, 14, left his Palm Beach Gardens home at about 6:30 p.m. on Monday and did not return, the Palm Beach Post reported.
His body and his bike were found at about 9 a.m. the next morning on a sidewalk at the Interstate 95 overpass.
Palm Beach Gardens Police did not disclose Rogers’ cause of death — they said they were awaiting official autopsy results — but said he was not killed in a traffic-related collision.
Rogers was a freshman at William T. Dyer Community High School. The school district has made grief counselors available for students and staff at the school.
Police ask anyone with information to call 561-799-4445.
