Ethan Crumbley’s parents have joined him in jail, just not in the same cell. The mother and father of the teen charged in the school shooting at Oxford High School have been charged involuntary manslaughter after taking no action when called to the school. A teacher saw a disturbing drawing made by the boy, and the parents were called in and told that Ethan Crumbley must get counseling with 48 hours.
The school shooting happened shortly thereafter. Jennifer and James Crumbley pled not guilty to the charges. Police issued a “Be on the Lookout” for the parents when they failed to turn themselves in. They were arrested near the Canadian border.
