Twin boys and two adults believed to be their parents were found dead in a rural Missouri home this week.
As KFVS reports, the four family members were discovered dead on Tuesday morning. Police were called to the home after an unknown person or people found the family unresponsive.
The infant twins were 9 months old. The adults were identified as 33-year-old Steven Sikes and 31-year-old Julie Crawford.
According to the report, police do not suspect foul play, and investigators reportedly believe the deaths may be connected to an alternative heat source in the home. Further details about the heat source were not immediately made available.
A medical examiner is performing autopsies on the family members to determine a cause of death.
