The brother of a woman whose disappearance made national headlines years ago has been found dead a week after he went missing.
As previously reported, Jonathan Suarez, 34, went missing from his home in Orange County, Florida, on January 16. Jonathan’s sister Yessiana Suarez and her two young children vanished in October 2013. All three were presumed dead in a high-profile investigation, though their bodies were never found. Yesssenia’s husband Luis Toledo was tried and convicted of murdering Yolanda and the two children. He is serving a life sentence in prison.

Fox 35 and the New York Post report that Suarez was found dead in or near Apoka, the same area where his vehicle was found just over a week before. It is unclear exactly where investigators found Suarez’s body was found, and authorities have not yet released his cause of death.
Jonathan had reportedly struggled emotionally with the loss of his sister and her children.
“I just think it kind of has eaten him up, and now he’s kind of like, ‘I need to find my sister,’” Suarez’s mother Felicita Nieves told Fox 35.
This is a developing story. CrimeOnline will provide further updates when more information is available.
