UPDATE 6:40 p.m.: Police believe a toddler who died from a gunshot wound to the face found a loaded gun and shot himself, WTXF reports.
Original story: Police in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, are investigating after a 4-year-old boy died from a gunshot to the face.
Officers responded to the scene west of Philadelphia shortly after 5 p.m. on Monday for a reported shooting. The found the boy, and paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene when they arrived.
Investigators have not released the boy’s identity or said what might have led to the shooting.
