An OnlyFans model and Instagram influencer has been hospitalized under Florida’s Baker Act after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend to death at a Miami high-rise last weekend.
Friends said that Christian Obumseli, 27, was fatally stabbed by 25-year-old Courtney Clenney, WPLG reported.
The New York Post said that Clenney is known as Courtney Tailor on Instagram, where she has 2 million fans.
Police said they responded Sunday night to the One Paraiso luxury apartments and found Obumseli with a stab wound to the shoulder. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police said at the time they took a woman into custody, but she was threatening to kill herself and officers took her to the hospital.
Florida’s Baker Act allows police, doctors, mental health professionals, and judges to send someone who displays violent or suicidal tendences to a mental health treatment center for up to 72 hours.
Clenney has not been charged in the incident, and police said they’re still working to determine if she acted in self-defense. They said they’ve responded to multiple calls to the apartment in the last three months.
Friends of the couple said they couldn’t imagine Obumseli being agressive toward his girlfriend.
“We’ve seen her hit him. I’ve never seen him hit her,” Ashley Vaughn told WPLG, adding that friends “believe that Christian wouldn’t put her in a position where she would need to stab him to protect herself.”
But a neighbor told the station he could see into the apartment and that Clenney was being abused.
“I could not tell if it was open-handed or closed-handed, but he was swinging at her,” he said.
