A New Hampshire couple that reportedly vanished last Monday was found fatally shot on Thursday in what is being investigated as a double homicide.
The New Hampshire Department of Justice said in a statement that autopsies have confirmed that two bodies found in a wooded area near the Marsh Loop Trail in Concord are Djeswende and Steven Reid, 66 and 67. Their cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds, and their manner of death was homicide.
According to officials, the Reids were last seen leaving their apartment on April 18. The couple was reportedly known to frequent a walking trail near their apartment, but alarms were raised on Wednesday when Steven was a no-show for an event.
No arrests have been made, and their deaths have been deemed suspicious. Residents said they did not hear gunshots at the time of the Reids’ disappearance, according to WBTS.
Anyone with information regarding this case should call the Concord Police Department at 603-225-8600.
