A 17-year-old Connecticut boy was reportedly stabbed to death on Saturday during an altercation at a house party, but no arrests have been made.
Fairfield College Preparatory School student James McGrath was stabbed along with three other students at a home in Shelton. The Stamford Advocate reported that the deadly incident did not occur at McGrath’s residence.
Three other stabbing victims reportedly spoke with police. A resident who lives nearby told WTIC that a nurse was among the people who tended to a dying McGrath after overhearing screaming on Saturday.
“She walked out and she saw what was happening and walked over and gave the kid CPR before he passed away,” the resident said.
WABC reported that alcohol was at the party where the fatal fight occurred.
Authorities have not disclosed what led up to the stabbing or the conditions of the other three victims. It is also unclear whose home Saturday’s incident occurred at.
Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call the Shelton Police Detective Bureau at 203-924-1544.
