Police in Monroe, North Carolina, are investigating a Sunday night shooting that left two people — one of them a 4-month-old infant — dead.
The shooting took place at about 10:30 p.m. in a residential area of south Monroe, a block from the Union County Public Library, according to WSOC.
Police have not released the names of the victims or said what led to the shooting.
The age of the second victim is also unknown.
Monroe is a small town in the Charlotte metropolitan area.
