Investigators trying to track a Texas yoga teacher suspected of shooting her boyfriend’s fling to death say the woman may be traveling under her sister’s name.
Kaitlin Armstrong, 34, is wanted for killing 25-year-old Moriah Wilson, a professional cyclist, in early May, as CrimeOnline previously reported.
Armstrong reportedly learned that Wilson had slept with her boyfriend, fellow cyclist Colin Strickland, and was said to be “furious” about it, according to an anonymous tip from someone police said was “credible.”
Investigators brought Armstrong in for questioning after they saw an SUV similar to hers outside the home where Wilson was staying, but they let her go. Two days later, Armstrong was on a plane for New York.
Strickland told police he briefly dated Wilson last fall and went swimming and to dinner with her on the night she was shot to death. He disguised Wilson’s name on his phone and lied about where he was going so Armstrong wouldn’t find out.
Strickland has also gone into hiding, reportedly because he’s afraid of Armstrong.
Investigators say new tips have come in indicating that Armstrong may be traveling under her sister’s name, Christine Armstrong, NewsNation reported.

A man told Fox News Digital that he had seen Kaitlin Armstrong at a remote campsite in upstate New York, as CrimeOnline reported earlier Wednesday. The same man said he’d seen Christine Armstrong there as well.
Investigators have also speculated she may have crossed the border into Canada.
Armstrong is wanted for murder and for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. The US Marshals Service has designated the investigation as a major case, adding additional manpower to bear.
