Ex-“Jackass” star Bam Margera was returned to a Florida treatment center after reportedly vanishing on Monday.
Sources told TMZ that police and a crisis intervention team found Margera, 42, at a Delray Beach hotel on Wednesday. Though he is undergoing court-ordered treatment, he reportedly returned to the rehabilitation center voluntarily.
According to the tabloid, Margera stopped using his medications after leaving rehab. It is unclear whether he had relapsed. Last month, Margera celebrated one year of sobriety.
Sources said Margera left the center because he was not receiving preferential treatment like he did at other facilities. Margera allegedly told the manager that he would be leaving their treatment center and checking into another one in the area.
According to reports, Margera had recently gotten into an argument with his wife, and he also believed the facility did not arrange his physical therapy appointments for a broken wrist he suffered last month while skateboarding.
The Daily Mail reported that Margera was barred from filming the latest “Jackass” project, “Jackass Forever,” because he failed to address his addiction issues. Margera claimed his concerning behavior was due to bipolar disorder.
Margera filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against Johnny Knoxville, Paramount, and others claiming the wellness agreement he signed was “discriminatory.” That suit was settled last month.
