A California elementary school principal jumped to his death from a parking deck at Disneyland on Saturday, according to reports.
Newland Elementary School principal Christopher Christensen, 51, was found dead after someone reported a man falling from the amusement park’s Mickey & Friends parking structure. The Mercury News reported that Christensen was due in court on Monday for child endangerment and battery charges which stemmed from a November 15 incident.
On Saturday, Christensen allegedly posted on his Facebook page that he may lose his job after a dispute with his wife led to police involvement.
“Please remember me for all the good I brought to the world of education,” he reportedly wrote.
Officials are investigating Christensen’s death as a suicide.
