An Illinois woman who disappeared after driving to a grocery store on Sunday has been found dead in the Fox River.
Kimberly Koerner’s family said her body was recovered early Monday, nearly 24 hours after she was last seen headed to a Jewel store in Algonquin, WGN reported.
She never made it inside the store, and her cell phone and car keys were found in her car in the parking lot, as CrimeOnline previously reported.
The 52-year-old was also seen on surveillance video walking alone in a neighborhood about a mile away from the store.
Police said there is no indication of foul play in Koerner’s death.
