Portland Police Look for Boyfriend of Woman Found Murdered in Nature Park

A woman found dead last week in an Oregon park has been identified, and her boyfriend is now wanted for her murder.

The Portland Police Bureau said the body of 27-year-old Kathryn Muhlbach was found Friday afternoon in Powell Butte Nature Park, KPTV reported. Police said at the time the death was “suspicious” but still have not released the cause of death.

On Monday, investigators said they were looking for Antonio Caraballo, 43, for Muhlbach’s murder and issued a nationwide warrant for his arrest.

Police said they believed Caraballo fled the Portland area and is known to have connections elsewhere in Oregon, in California, and in Mexico.
