FOUND SAFE: Parents Plead for Answers as 15-year-old Teen Girl Vanishes Overnight

Update

Ashland police in Missouri say that a missing teen girl has returned home safe, according to Chief Gabe Edwards. No other information is available at this time.

Original Story

The parents of a missing Missouri teen made a heartfelt plea this week for her return after she vanished earlier this month from Ashland.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, 15-year-old Emilee Dubes was last seen in Ashland on December 4 after disappearing overnight from her family home. Ashland police received a missing persons report that Emilee left home without permission, and her family hasn’t seen or heard from her since.

Police said Dubes ran away from home, but her parents believe she is now being held against her will, adding that she left her jacket and cellphone behind.

“Our initial investigation confirmed Emilee likely cut the screen out of a bedroom window and left without parental consent or knowledge,” Ashland Police Chief Gabe Edwards said Tuesday.

“We have not received credible information that the juvenile was taken against her will, is being held against her will, or that she is in danger…APD continues to follow leads to locate the juvenile so she can be reunited with her family.”

Emilee’s family is offering a $2,000 reward for information that leads to her safe return home.

Anyone with information on Emilee’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Ashland Police Department (573-657-9062) or the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Missing Persons Unit (573-526-6178).

This is a developing story and will be updated as additional information becomes available. Check back for updates.
