On Tuesday, Texas police released new footage of a missing 4-year-old girl who was apparently abducted last December.
The new surveillance footage, released by San Antonio police, shows Lina Khil walking away from her family’s apartment complex on December 20, 2021, marking the last time she was seen. Detective German Fuentes said Khil’s disappearance is “suspicious” given her age.
Khil, who was three at the time, was also filmed playing with her mother and brother at the complex before she vanished. Police said a resident provided the footage.
Detective Jeremy Volz said they have received hundreds of tips after Khil’s disappearance, but none have led to her being located. Meanwhile, San Antonio Police Chief William McManus revealed to KENS that they had identified a person of interest at one point.
“I don’t want to go into too much detail about that. But there was [a person of interest]. And all of the areas and individuals that have attracted more attention from us, we’ve checked them out thoroughly to make sure we were not missing anything. But right now, we’re left empty handed,” he said.
Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call the San Antonio police’s missing person’s unit at 210-207-7660 or Crime Stoppers at 210-224-7867.
