The names of a Louisiana couple found dead in their home were released Monday by Baton Rouge officials.
According to WAFB 9, Coby Manuel, 59, and Jenell Manuel, 59, were found deceased in their East Baton Rouge home on Indigo Ridge Avenue. Police reportedly said a family member found the victims’ bodies when she arrived to check on them, then contacted police.
The victims were deceased for quite some time before they were discovered, police believe.
A spokesperson for the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, Casey Rayborn Hicks, said the investigation is in its early stages and too soon to determine exactly what happened. The Advocate reports that the homicide investigation and autopsies are “still pending.”
