A 4-year-old girl was hospitalized in Washington, D.C., Saturday with a gunshot wound. police said.
Police said the girl was brought to the hospital by an adult at about 9:30 a.m. and was conscious and breathing, WUSA reported.
WRC said the girl’s injuries were not life-threatening.
Police said they believed the shooting took place in the Rangle Highlands neighborhood in in the southeastern part of the district.
The circumstances of the shooting are under investigation, they said.
