A baby girl wounded in a shooting that left two men dead Tuesday night died Wednesday morning in a North Carolina hospital.
Fayetteville police identified the two adults as Terrance Jaiquann Melvin, 26, and Johnathan Alexander McMillian, 33, and said that “all parties involved were known to each other.”
A 6-month-old girl was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she died.
Police provided little information about the case except to say that the investigation was ongoing. It’s not known who called police to the scene or what the relationships between the two men and the baby were.
