Two people were arrested this week after they allegedly stopped a Georgia school bus loaded with elementary school students and pulled a gun.
Samantha Lynn Connelly, 33, and Tarrell Lashawn Nelson, 30, face multiple charges relating to the incident, although it’s unclear why they did what they did, WSB reported.
Investigators said Connelly blocked the bus while Nelson pulled a gun in front of the vehicle. There were no injuries.
Officials said Nelson was charged with third-degree cruelty to children; two counts of terroristic threats and acts; receipt, possession, or transport of a firearm by a convicted felon or felony first offender; and knowingly, intentionally or reckless disruption of the operation of public school/bus/bus stop.
Connelly was charged with knowingly, intentionally or reckless disruption of public school/bus/bus stop operation, false statements or writing, and concealing facts of fraudulent documents in government matters
Both were booked into the Glynn County Detention Center. Jail records indicate Connelly has been released, while Nelson remains behind bars.
