Three young women and two men are missing after a night out in south Wales.
Family said that 20-year-old Sophie Russon, 21-year-old Eve Smith, and 21-year-old Darcy Ross were at the Muffler bar in Maesglas on Friday night, the South Wales Argus reported, and from there headed to Porthcawl with Rafel Jeanne Actie, 24, and Shane Loughlin, 32.
Eve Smith’s sister, Lauren Doyle, told the Argus that her sister was last seen “in the Cardiff area at around 2 a.m. on Saturday morning,” but none of the five have been seen since.
Doyle said the disappearances were reported to Ghent police on Saturday and that the phones of the three women were unreachable. She said her sister’s car was still at the Muffler and her bag and car keys were inside.
Doyle wrote on Facebook that “We are all worried sick and thinking the worst.”
She said police are searching for a white Volkswagen Tiguan with registration number VE64 YLB.
LBC said that South Wales Police are also believed to be assisting in the investigation.
