Three people were found dead at a Texas home on Monday and the case is reportedly being investigated as a double-murder suicide.
San Antonio police’s public information officer Jennifer Rodriguez told KSAT that the bodies of a man in his early 40s, a woman in her late 30s, and a girl were discovered at a residence after a family member said they had not heard from them since Saturday.
The man who was found deceased in the home is believed to have fatally shot his wife and their daughter, who is younger than 10, before turning the gun on himself.
According to KSAT, neighbors said they had heard a scream but it is unclear whether it was related to the deadly shooting. San Antonio police are in the process of determining whether there was a history of domestic violence.
KSAT reported that a gun was recovered from the scene.
Officials have not released the names of the three decedents.
