A 59-year-old Michigan man has been arrested and charged with killing a woman with a crossbow.
Battle Creek police were called to a home on Sunday and found Kori-Lee Moser, critically wounded by a bolt from a crossbow, according to Battle Creek firefighters, who also responded.
She was treated on scene and then transported to Bronson Battle Creek Hospital for further treatment, where she died from her injuries.
According to WWMT, Joel Wagner was charged with first degree murder in the incident.
Battle Creek Communications Specialist Eric McClure told the station that Wagner and Moser were in a relationship and had been living together for about two years. He said that drugs are suspected to have been involved in the shooting, but investigators are awaiting the results of further forensics testing and a toxicology report.
Wagner is due back in court in late April.
