Virginia State Police have issued an Amber Alert for a 9-year-old girl believed to be in extreme danger.
Brielle Alexis Maree Silver was last seen Saturday morning in Newport News and may be traveling in a vehicle with Alabama tags.
She is believed to have been abducted by her mother, Bethany Renae Dawn Gould, who is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and 140 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Brielle is described as 4 feet 7 inches tall and 107 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black tank top and white shorts. She was not wearing shoes and may be wearing silver dolphin earrings.
The Newport News Police Department said that Gould, 38, has been charged with misdemeanor abduction and an emergency protective order.
Police said they may be traveling in a gray 2005 Mercury Mariner with Alabama tag 32BM568.
