“General Hospital” star Haley Pullos was charged with driving under the influence for an alleged incident in April in which she drove head-on into another car.
TMZ reported that Pullos, 24, was driving the wrong way on a freeway in Pasadena, California, on April 29 when she collided with another vehicle that was going about 60 mph. Police allegedly recovered marijuana edibles and small tequila bottles from the actress’ car.
Firefighters had to free Pullos from her car and assist her into an ambulance. According to the tabloid, a firefighter was checking Pullos’ injuries when she struck them and shouted, “This is a $400 f**king shirt!”
TMZ also reported that once at the hospital, Pullos reeked of alcohol and had slurred speech and watery eyes. She was allegedly aggressive with hospital staff to the point she was sedated. She was subsequently arrested at the hospital.
Police told TMZ that Pullos was involved in a serious hit-and-run traffic collision before the wrong-way wreck on the freeway.
According to reports, Pullos recently told the media that she was taking a break from acting to recover from April’s crash. However, she apparently omitted details about the alleged DUI.
