A Florida father has been arrested on manslaughter charges after he shot and killed his toddler son.

St. Petersburg police said Armani Creary, 2, was shot shortly after 8 p.m. at the home and he and his father shared with the dad’s parents, WTVT reported.

Aaron Creary, 22, reportedly got into a fight with his parents, pulled out a gun, and hit Armani, police said.

Creary crashed his car trying to drive the boy to the hospital. Police responded to the crash and finished the trip to the hospital, but the boy was pronounced dead there.

Creary has been charged with aggravated manslaughter and violation of probation.
