Harmony Montgomery: Dad Accused of Murder Goes on Trial on Weapons Charges

Adam Montgomery, the father accused of killing 5-year-old Harmony Montgomery, goes on trial on weapons charges beginning Wednesday.

He is charged with being an armed career criminal and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Jury selection is ongoing, carried live by WMUR on their website.

The weapons trial is not connected to Harmony’s 2019 disappearance.

Montgomery faces up to 70 years in prison if convicted on the weapons charges. According to WMUR. investigators offered Montgomery a deal in exchnage for the location of Harmony’s body, but he has not accepted it.

Montgomery’s murder trial is scheduled to begin in November. Prosecutors say he disposed of the girl’s remains sometime between December 7, 2019, and March 4, 2020. He was previously charged with child abuse for pummeling Harmony in the face with a closed fist, as CrimeOnline reported.
