Georgia authorities are searching for a 14-year-old girl whose phone has been turned off and is believed to be endangered, Fox 5 reports.
On Wednesday, the Gwinnett Police Department issued a missing person alert about 14-year-old Nevaeh “Ashley” Bell, who was last seen May 24 in the parking lot of Parkview High School in Lilburn.
Bell was observed walking toward the student parking lot just after 10:30 a.m. after she took an exam. It was the last day of school. She reportedly put a laptop in her sister’s car, but police have not said what happened next or whether they know, according to 11 Alive.
The teen’s mobile phone was shut off several hours later and she has not engaged with social media. She reportedly does not usually have access to a vehicle or money and did not bring identification or any additional clothes.
Prior to vanishing, Bell had perfect attendance at school.

In an interview with Fox 5, Bell’s father described his daughter as a gamer who often keeps to herself. Loved ones fear that someone she met online or through an app has lured her away.
Bell’s father said the family’s sole concern is that his daughter returns home safely.
The Gwinnett County Police Department said Bell was last seen wearing a white shirt and brown tights with white and brown shoes.
“At this point, Ashley Bell is considered a missing endangered child,” the department said in a Twitter post.
