SEE IT: OBGYN Slapped by Man Claiming He Sexually Assaulted His Wife 7 Years Ago

A New York-based OBGYN said on Sunday that he plans to file criminal charges against a man who was filmed last month slapping him while claiming he sexually assaulted his wife in 2016.

Dr. William Burke, 58, was a panelist at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists annual meeting in Baltimore, Maryland, on May 20 when a man rushed the stage, grabbed Burke by his shirt, and smacked him.  At the time, Burke declined to file criminal charges — but he recently told the Daily Mail that he changed his mind.

During the filmed altercation, the man is heard saying, “This motherf****r sexually assaulted my wife seven years ago. You know what you did. You touched my wife seven years ago in New York. Don’t be an a*****e. B***h.”

Burke is a doctor at Stony Brook University Cancer Center. He told the Daily Mail that he did not know the man who smacked him. However, he declined to say if he knew the man’s wife or if the allegations levied against him are true.

“There’s more to come,” he commented.
