A man accused of killing his 5-year-old daughter was convicted Thursday on unrelated gun charges.
Adam Montgomery will stand trial for the death of Harmony Montgomery in November. The little girl hasn’t been seen since 2019, but she was not reported missing until November 2021, as CrimeOnline reported.
A Hillsborough, New Hampshire, jury got the case against Adam Montomery late Wednesday afternoon and returned guilty verdicts Thursday morning on six charges: two counts each of being an armed career criminal, receiving stolen property, and theft, the Associated Press reported.
A sentencing date has not been set, but Montgomery faces up to 70 years in prison.
Montgomery has pleaded not guilty in the case of his daughter’s death. He is also charged with falsifying physical evidence, and abuse of a corpse. Although Harmony’s body has not been found, her father is accused of repeatedly hitting her in the head with his fist, killing her. Before he was charged with murder, he was charged with child abuse for the beating.
