Original Story

Georgia police are still searching for a 14-year-old Gwinnett County girl who hasn’t been seen in a little over two weeks.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, the Gwinnett Police Department issued a missing person alert for [name redacted], last seen May 24 in the parking lot of Parkview High School in Lilburn.

The teen was seen walking toward the student parking lot a little after 10:30 a.m., following an exam on the last day of school. Campus police said she put a laptop in her sister’s car, then placed a debit card on the car’s windshield, according to KAKE.

Her phone was shut off several hours later and she hasn’t been active on social media. She doesn’t have access to a vehicle or money and did not bring identification or any additional clothes.

“When she left, she had no money, no clothes, no nothing,” her father said. “I just think somebody was coaching her, that’s just how I feel…I think someone coached her through this because she doesn’t walk anywhere.”

The teen, who had perfect attendance at school, is shy and typically won’t talk to strangers. In an interview with Fox 5, the father described his daughter as a gamer who often keeps to herself. Loved ones fear that someone she met online or through an app has lured her away.

“These streets are dangerous. She’s 14. She doesn’t know too much,” he told ANF.

Lilburn is about 20 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta.
