Ezra Miller attended Monday’s premiere of “The Flash” movie in Hollywood, as the actor briefly acknowledged legal issues which include grooming allegations and arrests for abusive, erratic behavior.
Variety reported that Miller, who is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns, thanked various executives — including directors James Gunn and Peter Safran — for their “grace and discernment and care in the context of my life. And in bringing this moment to fruition.” D.C. Studios, which is owned by Warner Brothers, said Miller is only obligated to appear at this red-carpet event while promoting the latest superhero film.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Miller has been in legal controversy several times in the past year. In March 2022, the actor was arrested at a bar in Hawaii after they allegedly became irritated when some bar patrons began singing karaoke. Miller allegedly started yelling obscenities and tried to yank the microphone away from a 23-year-old woman.
The following month, Miller was arrested again in Hawaii for allegedly throwing a chair at a woman, leaving her with a forehead laceration.
Months later, two sets of parents sought protective orders against Miller. Rolling Stone reported that one parent claimed Miller groomed their then-12-year daughter and that the actor continues to manipulate her by giving her drugs and alcohol. The second parent also alleged that their 12-year-old child had inappropriate contact with the actor.
“The Flash” hits North American theaters on Friday. Variety reported that the film has underperformed at the international box office despite glowing reviews.
