Two Americans were found dead in a luxury hotel room in Baja this week, dead from “intoxication by substance to be determined,” the Baja California Sur Attorney General’s Office said.
The AG’s office identified the man and woman as John Heathco, 41, and Abby Lutz, ABC News reported.
The attorney general said the two had been dead for about 10 or 11 hours when they were found, and there were no signs of violence on their bodies.
They were found in a room at Rancho Pescadero, a luxury hotel owned by Hyatt.
