Georgia police in Paulding County are actively searching for a woman diagnosed with dementia and stage 4 cancer.
Barbara Kay Puett, 67, was last seen leaving her home in Dallas on Monday afternoon. She was then seen at a business at around 2:30 p.m. off Old Cartersville Road, before getting a ride at around 2:30 p.m., from someone in a new red Jeep Renegade SUV with an unidentified license plate.
Puett reportedly asked for a ride to a bus stop in an attempt to get to a hotel in Hiram or Cartersville.
Puett is described as a white female who stands 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs around 120 pounds. She has long blonde hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing dark blue leggings, black shoes, and a white and blue short sleeve shirt, WSB-TV reports.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts should contact 911.
