The Colorado Bureau of Investigation issued a Missing Indigenous Person Alert Wednesday for a Navajo woman who hasn’t been seen for nearly two weeks.
According to CBI, 26-year-old Shirelle Lucinda Begay was last June 13 in Denver. She’s part of the Navajo tribe and could be “experiencing homelessness.”

Begay is described as standing 5 feet 3 and weighing 125 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact 911 or the Denver Police Department at 770-913-2000.
