Teen Shoots 8-Year-Old Brother With Gun Belonging to His Cop Father

The 14-year-old son of an Oklahoma City police officer found his father’s gun inside a car and shot his 8-year-old brother with it.

Police said the boys’ father was not present when the shooting took place Tuesday afternoon in a Choctaw Walmart parking lot, according to KOKH.

The brothers had traveled to the store with another relative, who left them in the car to go inside to grab something.

The younger boy, who was shot in the chest, was taken to a hospital by helicopter, and there have been no updates on his condition.
