A New York man is in jail on charges connected with the deaths of his mother and brother,
Police said they have surveillance video showing 40-year-old Roscoe Danielson removing his 31-year-old brother’s body from the Queens house the brothers shared with their mother, WNBC said.
Kyle Danielson’s body was found in a garbage bag down the street from the home on Wednesday afternoon, Investigators found their 58-year-old mother’s body inside the home when they served a search warrant.
“We’ve obtained search warrants based on video surveillance that we have him removing that body from that house,” Joseph Kenny, assistant chief at the Detective Bureau, said Thursday.
Police were alerted to the body by a 911 call, they said. One man told WNBC he called police when he saw blood near the bag.
Roscoe Danielson currently faces a half dozen charges, including weapon possession, concealment of a corpse, and tampering with evidence.
Investigators are awaiting autopsy results on the two victims. Kyle Danielson was found with a puncture wound to his back, police said.
The mother’s name was not released.
