Alex Murdaugh’s surviving son is slated to appear in a three-hour docuseries about his convicted killer father’s murder convictions and allegations that he stole from his law firm and a slew of clients.
On Tuesday, Fox News Media said in a statement that “The Fall of the House of Murdaugh” will premiere on September 12. In addition to speaking with Alex Murdaugh’s lawyers and friends, Martha MacCallum conducted a sit-down interview with Buster — the first since his father’s conviction.
In March, Alex Murdaugh was convicted of killing his wife and son, Maggie and Paul, at the family’s property in Colleton County, as CrimeOnline reported. He later appealed the two life sentences he received for the 2021 double murder.
“Through a firsthand account from Buster Murdaugh and access to key players, including friends and family, this series puts forward several missing elements that have not been brought to light,” Fox Nation President Jason Klarman said of the three-part series.
Before his murder convictions, Alex Murdaugh was disbarred for allegedly embezzling money from his former law firm to fuel a drug addiction. He still faces more than 100 counts in regards to the alleged fraud. He pleaded not guilty to some of the charges in May.
