Update: A 3-year-old North Carolina girl who was the subject of an Amber Alert issued on Thursday has been found safe.
Adalyn Mae Hochstetler was believed to be with her mother, Kelsi Lyn Hochstetler, and WSOC reported that the mother was arrested in Anna, Texas, northwest of Dallas.
She has been charged with felony child abduction and felony second-degree kidnapping, police said

North Carolina police are searching for a 3-year-old girl reported missing out of Mint Hill.
According to the Mint Hill Police Department, Adalyn Mae Hochstetler was last seen Thursday afternoon and is suspected to be with her mother, Kelsi Lyn Hochstetler, 30. WSOC-TV reports that the mother could possibly be on the run due to an upcoming court hearing concerning child custody.
Adalyn’s father reportedly contacted police at around 2:30 p.m. Thursday and said he thought the child could be in danger and hadn’t seen in person her since June 11. The mother has custody, the father said, but a protective order was granted to place the child in his care.
“After conducting research and speaking with extended family members it was determined that nobody has heard from the mother in almost two weeks,” Mint Hill police said in a news release.
Police say Kelsi Hochstetler could be driving a 2018 black Kia Optima LX with the North Carolina tag, FFF3959.
Kelsi is described as a white female who stands 5 feet 4 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes. Adalyn is described as a white female who stands 3 feet tall and weighs around 30 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
Adalyn was last seen wearing a denim skirt and a pink shirt.
