Pennsylvania State Police continue to search for a missing 34-year-old Union Township woman who hasn’t been seen in a year.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, Candice Caffas’ parents reported her missing on July 16, 2022, at 3:10 a.m., from their home in the 9100 block of Mount Pleasant Rd. in Union Township.
Eries News Now reports that a passerby spotted Caffas the same day she disappeared, at around 5:30 a.m., near the railroad tracks and State Game Lands 213 on PA Hwy. 28 in Greenwood Township.
Despite extensive search efforts by search and rescue teams, tracking K-9 units, aviation, and scuba teams, Caffas remains missing.

Caffas has Prader-Willi syndrome, which affects various body parts. She likes to be around water areas and tends to avoid responding to her name, police said.
“We’re just lost without her. We just miss her. We just want her home,” her mother, Carol, told YourErie.com
Caffas was last seen in a purple short sleeve shirt, orange floral shorts, and purple/blue sneakers. She stands 4 feet 9 inches tall and weighs around 95 pounds. pounds.
