A 78-year-old man with dementia is missing in South Carolina.

The Horry County Police Department said Willie James King was last seen early Wednesday afternoon walking away from his home just outside Nichols.

King is described as 6 feet 3 inches tall and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing brown pants, a blue plaid long-sleeved shirt, a black baseball cap that said “Veteran,” and glasses.

Police said he is considered endangered.
