Georgia Woman Missing, SUV Found Burned 30 Miles Away

Georgia police are looking for a mother of four who has been missing since mid-July.

Imani Roberson was last seen on July 16 when she left her mother’s home in Conyers to go back to her house to pick up some items, WXIA reported. According to her father, Ronald Acklin, she was in the midst of moving in with her mother.

The Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office said that Roberson’s SUV was found burned on a property 30 miles away from her Conyers home.

Roberson’s vehicle was seen on a doorbell camera backing out of her driveway on July 16 and speeding away — after a loud noise that could have been a gunshot. It was next seen on video at a apartment complex in southwest Atlanta, before turning up destroyed off Camp Creek Parkway.

The sheriff’s office said at a news conference on Wednesday it was still investigating and urged anyone with information to contact them.

Roberson’s mother, Clarine Andujar-White, was also at the news conference, and begged, “Please let me bring Imani home.”
