A Texas man was arrested Thursday and charged with killing his common law wife the day before.

The Cameron County Sheriff’s Office said that Abel Giovani Nava, 22, allegedly gave police a “full confession” and said he did killed Jocelyn Morales, 22, because of “jealousy problems.”

Morales was found dead on Wednesday and foul play was suspected when deputies from the sheriff’s office noticed “anomalies.”.

Investigators worked throughout the night and gathered enough evidence to arrest Nava Thursday morning.
