Two people were killed and several injured in a shooting incident at the upscale Arboretum shopping center in Austin, Texas.

According to KTBC, a suspect was in custody.

“At this time we do not have any information to believe there’s a threat to the public,” police said.

Emeregency medical personnel pronounced two people dead at the scene, and a third person was taken to a trauma center with critical, life-threatening injuries. Two other patients are being treated at the scene for minor injuries, KVUE said.

Police are asking the public to avoid the area and said they have contained the scene.
