California police are searching for a Beverly Hills singer/songwriter who hasn’t been seen or heard from since late June.
According to the Beverly Hills Police Department, loved ones last heard from Camela Leierth-Segura, 48, on June 30 but she wasn’t reported missing until August 8. Her elderly cat and her vehicle, a 2010 silver Ford Fusion, are also missing.
“The timing is especially crucial considering, the date she is stated to have gone missing compared to when it was reported to the police,” police said in a press statement.
Friends say they noticed Camela’s car parked overnight at her Beverly Hills apartment on June 30, but haven’t had any with her communication since.
“I’d like to think nothing bad happened, but do I think something bad happened? Yeah,” her friend Cecilia Foss said, according to ABC 7.
MISSING PERSON: On 08/08/23, Camela Leierth-Segura was reported missing. She has not been heard from since 06/27/23. She is believed to be with her vehicle & may have an elderly black cat with her.

Friends added that she had been struggling to pay rent before her disappearance, while a Beverly Hills landlord told ABC 7 that she was recently evicted from her apartment. There is now a “For Rent” outside of the residence, neighbors said.
The singer-songwriter is known for co-writing Katy Perry’s 2013 song, “Walking on Air.” She also released her own songs on Spotify and YouTube.
“We are extremely worried about her safety, and despite our best efforts, the local authorities have not been able to locate her,” friend Liz Montgomery wrote. “She means the world to us and time is of the essence. Her family in Sweden is pleading for your assistance,”
Camela is described as a white female who stands 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs around 125 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Beverly Hills PD at 310-550-4951.
Meanwhile, family and friends set up a GoFundMe page to help with a reward fund and search expenses.
