A West Virginia boy who vanished on Saturday while hunting with his grandfather was reportedly found dead.
WCHS reported that Wyatt Nieber, 10, disappeared in Point Pleasant while squirrel hunting with his grandfather, who injured himself on an ATV while searching for him. Crews who responded to the ATV accident learned of the missing boy before he was discovered dead on Sunday, several miles from West Virginia Route 2.
Few details were released regarding Nieber’s disappearance and death, but WOWK reported that a search was conducted near Salt Creek prior to the discovery of his body.
WCHS reported that Virginia State Police was seen at a brush-covered area on Sunday as the case remains under investigation.
