Ohio police said a newborn was found dead in a car on Wednesday and their apparent mother was hospitalized.
According to WBNS, Hillard police found the baby unresponsive in a car parked in a backyard. An hour before police arrived, Norwich Township firefighters responded to the home for a medical incident and reportedly discovered evidence that a baby was recently born.
The baby was pronounced dead at a hospital. A woman suspected of being their mother was hospitalized for undisclosed reasons, WBNS reported.
An autopsy will be performed to confirm the newborn’s cause of death. No criminal charges have been filed.
