Winners of CrimeCon’s 2023 CLUE Awards Announced (Exclusive)

CrimeCon’s CLUE Awards wrapped up September 23 at the World Center Marriott in Orlando.

CrimeOnline’s Nancy Grace joined as a notable presenter, alongside Kelly Siegler (Cold Justice), Camille Vasquez, and this year’s host, ABC News legal analyst Matt Murphy.

Also this year, the Gabby Petito Foundation received the prestigious “Crimefighter of the Year” award, which shines a spotlight on people or organizations that have made a substantial impact and demonstrated unwavering dedication to pursuing justice for crime victims. The award presentation was conducted by Derrica and Natalie Wilson, the co-founders of The Black and Missing Foundation (BAMFI), which received this honor in 2022.

“America’s Greatest Detective” honor was also handed out for its first time, which aims to recognize the exceptional investigative efforts of law enforcement dedicated to solving crimes nationwide, to Cynthia Garza, Special Bureau Chief of the Conviction Integrity Unit in Dallas County, Texas.
