‘Disgusting’: Florida Man Allegedly Exposed Himself to Middle School Girls, Grabbed Backpack

A Florida man who allegedly exposed himself to middle school girls and grabbed one of their backpacks is being sought by law enforcement, FOX35 reports.

Police say they are looking for 23-year-old Jerral Ugene Wynn in connection with an incident on Friday morning in Sanford, a suburb of Orlando.

A group of three middle school girls was walking to their bus near 5th Street and Avocado Avenue when they saw a man later identified as Wynn standing near a tree.

The girls reported that the man displayed his penis and then began touching himself. The girls walked away but the man followed them.

At some point, the man grabbed a backpack belonging to one of the girls and she had to remove it so she could flee.

The girls were able to escape and told their parents what had happened, prompting police to get involved.

Based on the details of what was reported and the investigation, police believe Wynn may have engaged in previous similar encounters in the area, according to WKMG-TV.

Sanford Police Chief Cecil Smith urged anyone who may have been the victim of similar encounters to report that information.

“This type of behavior is nothing other than disgusting. Our children should be able to walk to school and never encounter a situation such as this one,” Smith said in a press release.

“I encourage anyone who knows of similar incidents to come forward. We need to get this man off our streets immediately, before he victimizes another child.”

Police are seeking Wynn for alleged lewd and lascivious behavior and attempted kidnapping.

To report information about Wynn or his whereabouts, call Sanford police at 407-688-5070 or the Crimeline tip hotline at 800-423-8477 (TIPS).
